DailyHomelessNews stores the information needed to operate accounts, helper profiles, host applications, event and role applications, reports, corrections, news tips, and listings. Public pages show public listing information; private account details and gated event locations are limited to authorized users.

Exact gated event locations are never intended for public display. Approved helpers may receive private location details only when a host approves their application. Users should not repost or redistribute those details.

Admin and reviewer access is invite-only or manually assigned by authorized internal users. Sensitive actions, including approvals, moderation, archiving, and role changes, may be logged for safety, quality control, and abuse prevention.

By using the platform, users agree to provide accurate information, use the service lawfully, respect dignity-first rules, and avoid posting exploitative, unsafe, misleading, or private information. Listings and accounts may be reviewed, rejected, archived, or removed when they violate these expectations.

Resource listings are provided to help people find services, but they can change quickly. Call ahead when possible, use 211 for local referrals, and call 911 in an emergency.
